Abacus Indonesia 

Segera setelah persetujuan untuk kerjasama dengan Abacus International yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementrian Komunikasi dan Kementrian Keuangan dari tanggal 29 Desember 1993 dan 31 Desember 1993 masing-masing, Garuda Indonesia membentuk tim mega CRS, diketuai oleh Mr Sunarjo dan dibantu oleh seorang sekretaris dan enam anggota staf.



Aspek Sistem / Jaringan, Keuangan, Pemasaran dan Hukum yang telah diselesaikan, pilot komersial cut-over dilakukan pada awalnya 5 (lima) Agen Perjalanan besar, Vaya Tour, Dwi Daya, Anta, Smailing Tour dan Wita, yang kemudian berhasil . Ini segera diikuti oleh kegiatan cut-over di Agen Perjalanan lainnya.



Pada tanggal 1 Maret 1995, PT. Abacus Distribution Systems Indonesia secara resmi didirikan, dengan kantor yang terletak di lantai 20 Wisma Kyoei Prince, Jl. Jend. Sudirman, kav. 3-4, Jakarta 10220. Jadi PT. Abacus Distribution Systems Indonesia adalah CRS mega pertama yang legal beroperasi di Indonesia.



Seiring dengan pertumbuhan bisnis yang positif, terutama di bagian timur Jawa, Abacus Indonesia memutuskan untuk membuka kantor cabang di Surabaya pada tahun 1997, untuk memenuhi pasar di Kota Surabaya dan sekitarnya, dan kantor cabang di Medan pada tahun 2001 untuk memenuhi pasar di Kota Medan dan Sumatera.



Menjadi yang pertama dalam bisnis GDS, Abacus telah dari awal tidak menghadapi perlawanan yang signifikan. Yang berlaku iklim ekonomi makro serta respon industri memang banyak membantu untuk mendukung posisi Abacus '. Ini juga menyebabkan kinerja Abacus 'baik dan menguntungkan.
